Almost 200 students take part in math road rallyDecember 2, 2013 Category: NewsBack to News Page

This week, almost 200 students in Grades 4, 5 and 6 will take part in the Junior Math Road Rally event at the Simcoe County District School Board’s (SCDSB) Education Centre.

The Junior Math Road Rally is a math competition where student teams of four complete hands-on math challenges from different math strands, such as geometry, problem solving and numeration. There are seven different challenges for each team to complete.

The event takes place on Thursday, Dec. 5, and Friday, Dec. 6, from 10 a.m. until 2:15 p.m. at the SCDSB Education Centre, 1170 Highway 26, Midhurst.
