The Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA) will come into effect on August 31, 2015. This legislation will replace the outdated Day Nurseries Act (DNA) and establish new rules governing child care in Ontario. Learn more about the CCEYA and view frequently asked questions.
2016-2017 School Year
View the documents below for the list of schools that are offering before and after school programs and child care centres in the 2016/2017 school year. These programs will run on every school day during the school year.
Some schools will also operate on PA days and holidays to meet the needs of children and families. View the listing below of which schools will run on these extra days.
Please contact our Child Care Planner at 705-734-6363 ext. 11297 if you have any questions.
Please contact the child care organization that is listed as the operator in your school to register for the program directly.
B&A program operators will strive to accommodate part-time scheduling; the availability of part-time scheduling will be at the discretion of the B&A operator.
It is important for families to register for B&A programs before the end of the preceding school year. Decisions about whether a program has enough enrolment to operate will be confirmed in June. A program will not operate when it does not show it will meet the minimum enrolment required.
Hours of operation vary based on the needs of families in each school; child care operators will confirm hours in June of the preceding year. Contact the operator directly to confirm B&A program hours at each school.
All B&A programs are offered on a fee-for-service basis. Fees are the same in all programs.
