Holiday Coffee House at Barrie Central features performances, arts & crafts, bakingNovember 26, 2013 Category: School EventsBack to News Page

The Arts Council at Barrie Central Collegiate is hosting a Holiday Coffee House on Dec. 4 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Entirely student run, and facilitated by Arts Council Facilitator, Joanna Gilewicz, this event includes student performers, arts and crafts and a bake sale. There will also be door prizes and a silent auction.

“We invite our entire school community to attend the Coffee House event – it’s a great chance to do some holiday shopping for a good cause,” says Brandon Amyot, Student Trustee and Barrie Central student. “All funds raised will go directly back to the artists involved and into the council’s fund to hold events for students and the community throughout the year.”

In addition, the Arts Council is asking for attendees to provide a donation of clothing items and/or non-perishable food items for the less fortunate.
