The Learning Centres in Barrie, Collingwood and Midland are offering free programs in March to assist adults who are 19 years or older to build skills to help further their education or find employment.
The Computer Basics course helps adults who are looking for work, further education or training to improve their computer skills. Participants will learn how to navigate and search the web, set up an email address, how to attach files to emails and basic Microsoft Word formatting.
The following courses will be offered in March:
Monday and Wednesday evenings - March 9, 11, 23, 25 - 6 to 9 p.m.
March Break – Monday to Thursday, March 16-19 - 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Monday to Friday - March 23-27 – 9 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday afternoons - March 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12 - 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
March Break – Monday to Thursday, March 16-19 – 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
