The SCDSB is committed to supporting all students in developing a deep understanding of mathematics and confidence in their abilities as math learners. The SCDSB Mathematics Achievement Action Plan (MAAP) aligns with the three priority actions identified by the Ontario Ministry of Education: curriculum implementation, educator content knowledge, and knowing the mathematics learner. It also aligns closely with each of the SCDSB’s Strategic Priorities: Excellence in Teaching and Learning; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; Well-being; and Community.
The SCDSB 2024-25 MAAP includes:
- data-informed areas of need;
- strategies and actions to support student learning; and,
- measures to determine impact on intended outcomes, including student achievement and confidence in math.
