The SCDSB is committed to supporting all students in developing a deep understanding of mathematics and confidence in their abilities as math learners. The SCDSB Mathematics Achievement Action Plan (MAAP) aligns with the three priority actions identified by the Ontario Ministry of Education: curriculum implementation, educator content knowledge, and knowing the mathematics learner. It also aligns closely with each of the SCDSB Strategic Priorities: Well-being, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Community, and Excellence in Teaching and Learning.
The SCDSB 2025-26 MAAP includes:
- data-informed areas of need
- strategies and actions to support student learning
- measures to determine impact on intended outcomes, including classroom implementation of high impact instructional practices and universal design for learning strategies, and student achievement
