Make it from memory
Create a pattern using materials you have at home. Keep it a secret from your partner. Hide your pattern under a piece of paper or cloth. Remove the cloth and show your pattern to your partner for a short time - a few seconds. Cover it back up. Ask your partner to recreate your pattern. When they have finished, remove the cover and check to see if the patterns match. Take turns building and creating. Talk about how you remember the patterns. Talk about what is challenging to remember. Make the patterns more challenging as you practice.
