On November 23, 2023, the Ontario Government announced that eligible students attending PSW programs delivered by a District School Board will be funded through an Ontario Government grant. Therefore, for our part-time program tentatively scheduled to begin in September 2024, the $1500 program fee will be waived for eligible students.
This program is for individuals wishing to enter the health care field as personal support workers (PSW) and provide health care in community settings or long-term care facilities. Our PSW training program meets all professional and educational requirements, adheres to the Ministry of Colleges and Universities PSW Program Standard, and exceeds the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care's minimum program training hours.
