Posted on 05/06/2025

On Saturday, May 10, students from Bradford District HS and Stayner CI are hosting plant sales. Members of the community are invited to attend the sales in support of learning initiatives at each school.

Bradford District HS
Running from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the school’s front foyer and greenhouse, the sale will feature a variety of plants cultivated by students in the Garden Club and Green Industries program.

Salad bowls, herb bowls, hanging baskets, houseplants, cool-season vegetables, and herbs will be available for purchase. Proceeds from the sale will support student learning and enhance the school vegetable garden.

The garden was established over a decade ago and has continued to grow and thrive. Produce harvested from the garden is donated to local senior citizens and residents of Bradford House, enhancing food security in the community.

Bradford District HS is located at 70 Professor Day Drive in Bradford.

Stayner CI
The annual spring plant sale at Stayner CI will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. This cash-only sale is run by students in the Green Industries program.

Students have cultivated a selection of annuals, peppers, hot peppers, tomato, herbs, and house plants. Proceeds from the sale will support the Green Industries program at the school.

Stayner CI is located at 7578 Hwy 26 in Stayner.
