SCDSB to celebrate students in skilled trades and apprenticeship program
On June 10, the Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB) is hosting the second annual Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP) Night of Celebration to recognize the achievements of Grade 12 students who have successfully signed as registered apprentices.
What: OYAP Night of Celebration
When: Tuesday, June 10, 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Where: SCDSB Education Centre, 1170 Highway 26, Midhurst
Grade 12 students registered in OYAP, along with their families, friends, and apprenticeship employers, have been invited to this celebration, where they will receive certificates acknowledging their achievements.
Attendees will hear from guest speaker Andrea Lancaster, SCDSB graduate, OYAP registrant, and tradesperson, who will share her apprenticeship experience.
