Student talent and the school’s legacy will be on display as members of the Assikinack PS community come together to celebrate the school’s 50th anniversary on June 18.
Current and former students, staff, and other members of the school community are invited to enjoy formal remarks from dignitaries, a student talent show, and displays featuring the history and legacy of Assikinack PS.
Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Official remarks begin at 5 p.m., followed by the student talent show. Guests are invited to walk through the halls and library to explore artwork, timelines, memorabilia, photographs, student projects, and tributes representing the past 50 years.
Assikinack PS is located at 226 Little Ave., Barrie.
