A message to SCDSB families - Jan. 21, 2021
Posted on 01/21/2021
On January 20, the Ontario government announced that all schools in Simcoe County will continue to remain closed in response to COVID-19. As a result, all Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB) students will continue to participate in remote learning. Current arrangements to support students in special education classes will continue. It is expected that the next decision point regarding the return to in-person learning in Simcoe County will align with the provincial stay-at-home order which ends February 10. We will continue to provide updates regarding the return to in-person learning as information becomes available from the Ontario government.

SCDSB educators will continue to provide instruction through their established virtual learning platforms and remain committed to ensuring that all students have the opportunity to learn during this extended school closure period.

Students currently enrolled in the Learn@Home program will continue to attend class virtually.
