From April 29 to May 2, Bear Creek SS students will present Something Rotten! JR., a comedic musical set in Shakespeare’s time, where struggling brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom try to outshine Shakespeare by creating the world’s first musical.
The show features a cast of 17 students who have been rehearsing since the fall, with five students supporting the technical aspects of the show. Choreography was led by Gray C., a Bear Creek SS student.
Public performances will take place on April 30 and May 1 at 7 p.m., and on May 2 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased in advance through SchoolCash Online.
Bear Creek SS is located at 100 Red Oak Drive in Barrie.
