The SCDSB Board Meeting took place on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2025.

Trustee Tribute/Presentations
Trustee Foley presented the Trustee Tribute to David Morrison, a retired SCDSB teacher. Trustee Foley recognized David Morrison for starting the Global Perspectives program at Innisdale Secondary School. Trustee Foley thanked David Morrison for his contributions to students and his continued work in support of the program following his retirement from the SCDSB.

Director’s Annual Report to the Community 2024-25
Dawn Stephens, Director of Education, presented the Director’s Annual Report to the Community. Director Stephens shared that the Director’s Annual Report to the Community celebrates the accomplishments of students and staff during the 2024-25 school year. Director Stephens shared a video presentation noting that these accomplishments are highlighted in relation to the ten themes woven throughout the SCDSB Strategic Plan.

SCDSB Celebrates
Director Stephens shared a message of gratitude noting the generosity, creativity, and commitment of SCDSB staff. Director Stephens cited the many fundraising initiatives, celebrations, special sporting events, concerts, and holiday craft markets that bring school communities together at this time of year.
