Skills Ontario qualifiers 2026

Students to represent their schools on Team SCDSB at annual skilled trades and technology competition

Since early March, Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB) students from secondary schools across the county have been participating in regional skilled trades competitions in hopes of representing their school and the SCDSB at the 2026 Skills Ontario Competition in May. This annual competition promotes skilled trades and technology careers to youth by hosting skilled trades competitions for thousands of students from across Ontario in dozens of contest areas.

Team SCDSB for this year’s Skills Ontario Competition includes 52 students from 10 secondary schools. Following is the complete list of Team SCDSB members who will be competing on May 4 and 5 (teacher-coach names in brackets):
