SCDSB staff and community partners invited to ‘Spring Into Wellness’ at virtual outdoor learning event

On May 1, the Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB) invites all staff, as well as community partners, to participate in ‘Spring Into Wellness’, a virtual conference focused on wellness, self-regulation and learning in the outdoors.

Interested staff and community partners are invited to connect virtually on Saturday, May 1, 2021 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. to learn from, and with, others. Workshops will be interactive and provide ideas for enhancing personal and professional well-being. The event will feature several guest speakers from across Simcoe County and the province and include a wide variety of topics such as virtual learning supports, learning in the outdoors for Grades K-12, child, youth and adult mental health and wellness, yoga, self-regulation and nutrition.

Register now via Apply to Education, and learn more on the event website.

This initiative links directly to the SCDSB’s Strategic Priorities under the pillars of Excellence in Teaching and Learning, Well-being, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and Community.
