SCDSB seeks partnerships for elementary schools in Bradford, Oro-Medonte and Wasaga Beach

In January 2018, the Ministry of Education approved capital funding for three public elementary schools in Simcoe County. The Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB)’s policy outlining community planning and partnerships states that the SCDSB may enter into facility partnerships when building new schools, undertaking significant renovations and when considering the use of unused space in schools. 

The SCDSB invites interested parties to submit expressions of interest relating to potential partnership opportunities for the following projects:

North Bradford elementary school (new school)
Oro-Medonte elementary school (new school)
Wasaga Beach elementary school (new school)

Offering space in schools to partners can reduce facility operating costs, improve services and supports to students, and strengthen relationships between the school board, community partners and the public. Facility partnerships encourage and maximize the use of public infrastructure through increased flexibility and utilization, and provide a foundation for improved service delivery for communities.
