The Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB) continues to support student achievement and well-being throughout the summer months by providing a range of summer learning programs. This year, the need to offer summer learning programs is especially important to minimize learning loss, close gaps, support student mental health and mitigate the impact of the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic on students.
For Summer 2022, the SCDSB is offering programs that will focus on reading, STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) and assistive technology for elementary students. The programs will be delivered through both a virtual synchronous learning format and in-person.
