2022-23 School Year Calendar

The 2022-23 School Year Calendar outlines key dates for elementary and secondary schools. These include PA Days, school holidays and evaluation and reporting days.

The Elementary Turn-Around Day is the date that teachers report to their new classroom assignments based on adjusted staffing allocations in schools (changes due to student enrolment).

5-Day Cycle of Instruction (Elementary Schools)

The following calendar is identical to the regular SCDSB calendar posted above, with the addition of the 5-day instructional cycle designations. The 5-day instructional cycle means that instead of scheduling class programs on a Monday to Friday timetable, the programs are scheduled on a Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4, Day 5 sequence.
