Nuvo instruments at Worsley Elementary School
Grade 4 students in Mrs. Cavill's music class have been learning new notes and working on their mouth and finger placements! Nuvo instruments are new to the SCDSB, and provide elementary students the opportunity to learn about beginner band instruments prior to transitioning into secondary school.
Box sled racing at Elmvale District High School
Students took their learning outdoors to test and race their very own box sled creations! Watch as we explore the process behind this STEM project, and how students learned to improve their sled designs for race day!.

The SCDSB prioritizes wellness and support the mental health of our students and staff. Students at Tay Shores Public School got to participate in a well-being presentation focused on finding their calm place and learning how to recognize and manage their emotions.
